1. Introduction
At Stamp, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This Copyright Information page explains our policies and procedures regarding copyright protection, infringement, and the rights of content creators on our platform.
2. Copyright Ownership
When you upload content to Stamp, you retain all ownership rights to your original content. However, by uploading content to our platform, you grant Stamp a limited license to host, store, and make your content available to users according to your sharing preferences and our Terms of Service.
2.1 Artist Rights
As an artist on Stamp, you maintain full ownership of your music, artwork, and other creative content. We believe creators should control their work and how it's distributed. Our platform is designed to help you share your content while protecting your rights.
2.2 Platform Content
The Stamp platform itself, including our website design, logo, interface, and content created by Stamp (excluding user-generated content), is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These elements may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our express permission.
3. Copyright Infringement
Stamp prohibits the uploading, sharing, or distribution of content that infringes on the copyrights of others. Examples of copyright infringement include:
- Uploading music, artwork, or other content that you did not create and do not have permission to use
- Creating derivative works without permission from the original copyright holder
- Distributing copyrighted content beyond the scope of fair use or without proper licensing
- Using samples, loops, or portions of others' works without appropriate clearance
3.1 Fair Use
Fair use allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research. However, fair use is determined on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as:
- The purpose and character of the use (commercial vs. non-commercial)
- The nature of the copyrighted work
- The amount and substantiality of the portion used
- The effect on the potential market for the original work
If you believe your use of copyrighted material constitutes fair use, you should carefully evaluate these factors before uploading such content to Stamp.
4. DMCA Policy
Stamp complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar copyright laws worldwide. We have implemented a notice and takedown procedure for addressing claims of copyright infringement.
4.1 Reporting Copyright Infringement

- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material

If your content has been removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification

Counter-notifications should be sent to the same contact information provided above.
4.3 Repeat Infringers
Stamp maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a user has infringed the copyrights of others repeatedly.
5. Content ID and Rights Management
Stamp employs content identification technology to help identify potentially infringing material before it is published. This system compares uploaded content against a database of registered works to detect potential matches.
If you are a rights holder, you can register your works with our content identification system to help protect your content from unauthorized use. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information about this program.
6. Licensing and Rights Clearance
We encourage all artists to properly clear rights for any third-party content used in their works, including samples, cover songs, or visual elements. Stamp offers resources to help artists understand music licensing and rights clearance.
For more information about licensing and rights clearance, please visit our Help Center or contact our support team.
